Bullshit. You're making ridiculously broad generalizations here. There
are plenty of men who will take it further--witness the case in
Georgia in which a tax commissioner took another fellow to court for
"fighting words" and won. The word in question was "liar." The jury
didn't want to rule--they actually sent a note back to the judge
saying so, and recommending that both men be sent to bed without
supper. The judge insisted that they rule, so they found for the
plaintiff. This happened just this week in a town north of Atlanta.
And there are plenty of women who are accustomed to letting terms like
"bitch" roll right off our backs most of the time--although I don't
think that or any of the terms you were throwing around are
appropriate in any professional situation.

I have, in blue collar and white collar businesses. Whether or not it
happens doesn't make it appropriate. It is more inappropriate in some
professional environments than others--but childish name-calling isn't
appropriate anywhere. I haven't been in the military, so I won't
pretend to know what happens there. In private business, though, I do
have plenty of varied experience.

>I qualified my statement and you so conveniently snipped it off.

I responded to what you said. Saying "but I don't want to argue about
it" doesn't make you statements any less argumentative.

Where did I strike out at men in general, and precisely what did I say
that has jack to do with any "victim status" Wally? And what's this
about being liberal? Are you speaking of my politics, religious
beliefs, what? You've just thrown it out as some vague term and
(apparently) an attempt to insult me--try being more specific next
time.

I object to your generalizations about what all men do and what all
women do. The fact that I object to them has nothing to do with how I
feel about men in general, just because you're male.

I didn't count them, but there was a big list going from addresses
beginning with numberals through the "c"s in the copy I got. I do
believe this particular spammer got one of those old lists containing
addresses harvested from the old (late, unlamented) version of the
MindSpring User Database.
