I have to agree with you. I've been absolutely stunned by the number
of people who are obviously "on the prowl" though married--or who
proposition married people, then act surprised when they're turned
down. I just never imagined that so many people couldn't manage to
keep their pants on. I don't know if it's got much to do with the
times so much as human nature or lack of character, though. As I've
mentioned before, I'm thrice-divorced. Two out of three marriages
involved definite infidelity, and I had strong suspicions regarding
the third. And no, I didn't cheat--I've always been true to the
commitments I made to each husband. Judging from the experience of
friends and acquaintances, the problem isn't by any means limited to
me!
